Fishing Breaks on the Tweed

How do you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a fishing break in Scotland if you don't know how to fish? Dryburgh Abbey Hotel is located right next to the River Tweed, in the heart of the Scottish Borders and we don't want our guests to miss out on the thrill of the catch or the stories of the one that got away.

Fly fishing involves catching fish by using artificial 'flies' that are cast with a fly rod and a fly line and is renowned as a method for catching trout and salmon. Learn the art of fly fishing as you stay with us, or brush up on your skills with our Improvers lessons.
