Kitchen Garden

The Kitchen Garden was established over ten years ago, with the objective of reducing food miles through picking fresh vegetables and herbs from only yards away.

Although not registered as organic the garden is run very much on organic lines with a heavy reliance on crop rotation, natural fertilisers, etc.

Croppings this year have been excellent with baskets of freshly picked vegetables and herbs finding their way to the Restaurants each day, thus ensuring produce which is picked in its prime and consumed within hours.

The hotel still has a steady stream of vegetables at different stages so fresh vegetables from the Kitchen Garden will be available right through the winter and beyond.
