Refurbishment
The Dryburgh was closed for 2 weeks in February 2008 to allow for an exciting and innovative refurbishment.

This successful refurbishment has preserved the character of the Hotel by the retention of many well known features but has also added extra luxury where required.

The Tweed Restaurant & first floor gallery has been fully redecorated along with other public rooms including the Wallace Lounge and Garden Room.

Those of you who have experienced our relaxing swimming and sauna facilities will be even more impressed with the upgrading to the pool and showering areas.

The 'Lady of Mertoun Suite' was formally opened on the 29th of February 2008.  This modern suite offers luxurious accommodation and fine décor whilst offering majestic views of the Scottish Borders.  Incorporated within the suite is a separate sitting room with DVD, bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bath and shower room.  The Lady of Mertoun Suite offers the finest quality accommodation available with prices starting at £123 per person per evening.

During the 2 week closure we also took the opportunity to upgrade our reception area and back office.

The recent refurbishment to the Hotel coupled with the completion last year of the 'Glen Room' our superb state of the art meeting room, reflects a substantial recent investment by the Hotel in ensuring the highest standards of product are maintained.
